There’s a new poster child for what happens when you don’t tell the truth. It’s come to the public’s attention that Volkswagen has been lying about their vehicle emissions. And that has the public fuming.
The CEO has resigned. The company’s shares are down approximately 25%. There’s even concern VW’s “diesel deception” could damage Germany’s national economy.
There’s a reason “Tell The Truth” is the first rule of Green Marketing (at least according to us). Not doing so could give your competitors an acute case of schadenfreude.
