It's only fitting that our representative in Georgia, the birthplace of wine, is deeply engaged in wine tourism. Ellie is a co-founder and chairwoman of the Wine Tourism Association, and is actively involved in the development of the wine tourism sector, one of the most prosperous and quickly developing industries in Georgia. Whenever we sit down at a restaurant table, we just hand her the wine list and get out of the way.
Ellie is also a Director of Living Roots, a Tbilisi-based travel company specializing in travel in Georgia. Living Roots draws on the deep cultural roots that so characterize this fascinating country.
She has a deep understanding of travel industry issues in Georgia, strong relationships within the industry, government and close contacts with international wine and tourism specialists. She is a graduate of several International educational programs, and--you guessed it--loves travelling and drinking natural wines.
