She’s of Korean ancestry, but Hyeona grew up in Malaysia (though she can’t speak a word of Malay). She joined Green Team Global in 2017, and balances her professional duties with academic ones, as she is presently studying Advertising and Design at New York’s School of Visual Arts. While Heyona is fully versed in the digital world, her true passion is decidedly more analogue—guerilla advertising. On many occasions, she has taken to the streets of New York to engage unsuspecting pedestrians in one of her social commentary, artistic or commercial campaigns. Most recently, she created campaigns centered around Halloween and the Women’s March. She is an avid lover of dogs and Netflix.
