Guyana was anxious to promote one of its brand pillars, birding, to a North American audience.
With over 820 species of bird, Guyana has always been an attractive destination for birders. There are45 million active birders in the US (more than any other country), and the popularity of birding has skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic with the growth of "Backyard Birding."
Working closely with Green Team Global, James and his production team traveled to Guyana in January 2021, and captured hours of exceptional footage. We edited it down to two "hero" videos, each 2-3 minutes in length, and two "teaser" videos, each 25-30 seconds. We also brought on four local tour operators, and promoted their birding trips throughout the campaign on the Discover Guyana website.
