USAID and DAI hired Green Team Global to create four new tourism products (trips/itineraries) for the country of Georgia. The new products needed to cover different areas of the country, and be able to be implemented within six months.
Working closely with the Georgia National Tourism Authority (GNTA), DAI, and our in-country partners, we undertook an initial assessment of 32 different itinerary ideas, before ultimately landing created four new tourism products (trips/itineraries). This included developing an extensive feasibility study, branding and messaging, and a social media marketing tool kit for each product.
Four new products are currently being developed:
• Georgia Through The Ages
• Svaneti--Legends,Mountains & Towers
• Discover The Wild
• Gastro-Hiking The Emerald Forest
The social media marketing tool kits will be distributed to tour operators and travel agents to help sell the four products to international visitors.
