The Jamaica Social Investment Fund was seeking to help local Community Tourism Enterprises (CTE) establish more sustainable businesses by developing a web portal.
Many visitors to Jamaica hide behind the gates of an all-inclusive resort, and never venture out to take in more local experiences.
To allay any fears potential visitors might have, we prominently featured the people connected with the various CTEs. Each CTE page on the website begins with a short video of someone associated with the business welcoming the prospect. This allowed the natural warmth of the people to shine through.
We launched a fully responsive website that supports five community tourism enterprises in September 2016. GTG has provided fresh blog content and social media posts on a monthly basis since then. We drive traffic to the site with social media posts.
